Title: Caged (Holloway Pack #3)
Author: J.A. Belfield
Publisher: J. Taylor Publishing
Release Date: August 15, 2013
If the meek can become deadly, the strongest can be weak.
For Ethan Holloway, his mission to find a missing werewolf should be simple. Crack a few heads, bust a few chops and the solution always reveals itself. Always.
Not this time.
Ethan’s reputation precedes him, and because it does, someone is ready. Waiting. Unbeknownst to Ethan, he’s about to go down. Hard. Against a foe he never suspected and in a world he never imagined could be real.
What awaits Ethan is a fight not only for his reputation, but also his pack, his female, and his life. If he survives, damage control will become priority number one.
If he survives.
Because even Ethan’s not sure he’s strong enough to take on an entire race all by himself.
Especially one hell bent on exposing who and what he is in the name of sport.

I often get asked who my favourite Holloway Pack member is, and although I fell in love with Ethan when writing Caged, and fell in love all over again with the MC of Unnatural, I have always had a deep love for Sean.
Sean was the first member of this series to 'speak' to me. At the time, I wasn't even writing these books. Didn't even know they existed. Nope, I was around halfway through the 3rd in a pretty poor excuse for a trilogy—my first attempts at writing ever—when Sean Holloway first whispered in my ear.
To begin, the only details I seemed to get were his name, and that he was a werewolf.
When I shrugged him off because "I had a trilogy to finish, darn it!", his whispers heightened to shouts. And before I knew it, there was this shock of dark hair in my subconscious, a couple of muscled arms waving frantically about, and a deep voice yelling: "Hey, it's Sean! I'm over here! Come listen to what I have to say!" So, I did. And from that basis, Sean was built.
Jem became the one whose mind his voice—his name—whispered through. Jem became the one who recognised him as a wolf. Jem became the one who was bombarded by thoughts of him until she sat up and took notice. She was also the one who fate led along the right path to meet him.
As soon as I understood this was what needed to happen, all sorts of little scenes started flooding into my mind. I knew how and where they'd meet, right down to every ounce of dialogue—which told me a lot of about Sean's personality, his forthrightness, his confidence. And his perseverance of Jem told me just how much she meant to him, because even before I wrote those scenes where they meet after that initial encounter, I knew he'd be doing so behind his father's back—which is a pretty big boo-boo considering his dad is pack Alpha.
From there, his fierceness formed—as well as his fierce love. His strengths, where Jem was concerned, and his weaknesses, which Jem seemed to also be at the crux of. And merging that with the development of their relationship, which also spread out into the character development of this dude, went a long way to driving the story through to conclusion.
So, yeah, Sean Holloway lived (virtually) alongside me before I even knew anything about Darkness & Light—from a quiet presence to an outright confrontation. That was in 2009. He still lives alongside me now.

About the Author
One day, a character and scene popped into J. A. Belfield’s head, and she started controlling the little people inside her imagination, as though she were the puppet master and they her toys. Questions arose: What would happen if …? How would they react if …? Who would they meet if …?
Before she knew it, a singular scene had become an entire movie. The characters she controlled began to hold conversations. Their actions reflected the personalities she bestowed upon them. Within no time, they had a life, a lover, a foe, family … they had Become.
One day, she wrote down her thoughts. She’s yet to stop.
J. A. Belfield lives in Solihull, England, with her husband, two children, four cats and a dog. She writes paranormal romance, with a second love for urban fantasy.
She also book blogs over at Bookaroo-Ju.
