I’m going back to one of my favorite genres for this Top Ten list. I have been reading cozy mysteries for years. Cozies and people working in the book field go hand in hand, so here’s a list of ten mysteries with Fellow Book Nerds.

1. Chocolate Covered Mystery Series by Kathy Aarons
Michelle Serrano is one of the owners of Chocolates and Chapters, which is a combination bookstore and chocolate shop.
2. Bibliophile Mystery Series by Kate Carlisle
This series features Brooklyn Wainwright, a rare book expert in San Francisco.
3. Emma Lord Mystery Series by Mary Daheim
Emma Lord is the publisher/editor of the Alpine Advocate. This series takes place in Washington’s Cascade Mountains.
4. Cliff Janeway Series by John Dunning
Cliff Janeway is a cop and rare book expert in Denver, Colorado.
5. Haunted Bookshop Mystery Series by Alice Kimberly (aka Cleo Coyle)
Penelope Thornton-McClure runs a supposedly haunted bookstore in Rhode Island.
6. Book Group Mystery Series by Maggie King
Hazel Rose is a romance author and also the co-founder of a mystery book group.
7. Raven's Nest Bookshop Mystery Series by Allison Kingsley (aka Kate Kingsbury & Rebecca Kent)
Cousins and best friends, Stephanie and Clara Quinn run this bookstore, and the series takes place in Maine.
8. Calista Jacobs Mystery Series by Katherine Lasky Knight
Calista Jacobs is a sleuth who is also a children’s book illustrator.
9. Jane Stuart & Winky Mystery Series by Evan Marshall
Jane Stuart is a young, widowed mother and a literary agent. Winky is her tortie cat.
10. Read 'Em and Eat Mystery Series by Terrie Farley Moran
Sassy Cabot and Bridgy Mayfield own the Read ‘Em and Eat, which is a combination bookstore and cafĂ© in Florida.
