I just bought Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 1: Cosmic Avengers because I loved the Guardians of the Galaxy movie and really enjoyed the Guardians' parts in the new Captain Marvel series. So, as soon as I read it, I'll want to start on the second volume. Plus, this one has Neil Gaiman!


6. The Wicked + The Divine #6 by Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson
I read and loved the first five issues of The Wicked + The Divine, so I can't wait to read the next issue. You can read my review of the collected first five issuesHERE.



7. Journey into Mystery: Issues 622-645 by Kieron Gillen
The shadow of Fear Itself looms over Asgard, and only Loki holds the key to stopping the impending war between Odin's army and the Serpent! After I finished the first five issues of The Wicked + The Divine, I started researching what else Kieron Gillen had written. I saw that he was writing a series based on Angela, Thor's sister (Angela: Asgard's Assasin). Gillen says that Angela's story builds on a thread in Journey Into Mystery: Everything Burns, which collects issues 642-645, so I need to read that series, too.
