Jane Yellowrock is one of my favorite urban fantasy series, and there's a lot of story threads coming to a head in this installment so I can't wait to read it. Plus, the rest of the series has been narrated by one of my favorite narrators, Khristine Hvam.

Urban Fantasy



1. Arcadia Bell series by Jenn Bennett
This is one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series, but I haven't really seen a lot of buzz about it. If you like witches in your Urban Fantasy, you should definitely check this one out.



2. Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter
Another one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series that hasn't generated a lot of buzz that I've seen. I really like that this one is set in New Orleans and involves a vampire hunter. The Native American mythology is also a pretty great touch.

This is one of my favorite urban fantasy series, and I can't wait to get back into the world that Faith Hunter writes so well. It's especially awesome because it is mostly set in New Orleans. I hope this gets a audio version with Khristine Hvam rather quickly because she does such a great job as narrator.

I haven't read any of the Anna and the French Kiss books, but I did read the "sneak peek" of this on NetGalley, and I loved it. I felt instantly connected to the characters and was very sad when I reached the end of the sample. Lucky for me, I have Anna and the French Kiss and Lola and the Boy Next Door to hold me over until August!

I found this gem of a series as the first book was a deal on Audible.com. After finishing the first, I immediately read the next 5 and started counting down the days when Black Arts would be released. Faith Hunter is now among Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs and Jim Butcher as my favorite Urban Fantasy writers.
