This is one of my favorite series, and I really want to re-read it to fall in love all over again.

Another one of my favorite series that I need to re-read just because it's so great.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books For Readers Who Like Character Driven Novels

Top Ten Books For Readers Who Like Character Driven Novels

1. A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire #1) by George R. R. Martin

But only if you don't mind your favorite characters dying. I'm only slightly kidding. Martin writes fantasy at its finest, and it's centered on political intrigue and how no one is safe. Each chapter follows a different character's (mostly main) perspective, and there are hundreds of other side characters that play major roles and get more than a little development.

2. The Iron Duke (The Iron Seas #1) by Meljean Brook

In The Iron Seas series, Meljean Brook effortlessly combines romance and steampunk with a little bit of zombies thrown in. As romance is, to me, almost always character-driven, this is even more character-driven than the other fantasy series on this list. Each book is centered around one couple in the world.

Top Ten Underrated Books

Urban Fantasy

1. Arcadia Bell series by Jenn Bennett

This is one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series, but I haven't really seen a lot of buzz about it. If you like witches in your Urban Fantasy, you should definitely check this one out.

2. Jane Yellowrock series by Faith Hunter

Another one of my favorite Urban Fantasy series that hasn't generated a lot of buzz that I've seen. I really like that this one is set in New Orleans and involves a vampire hunter. The Native American mythology is also a pretty great touch.

Top Ten Books That Made Me Swoon

1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

My all-time favorite book. Besides, who wouldn't swoon over Mr. Darcy?

2. Graceling (Graceling Realm #1) by Kristin Cashore

I love the relationship between Katsa and Po. Katsa is wounded, prickly and headstrong. Po is stubborn, compassionate and understanding. I don't want to give any spoilers, but their coming into their relationship is a wonderful story. Plus, this is one of my favorite YA fantasies.
