My Review

You would think that with a name like Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer, there would be an overabundance of glitz, glamour, and camp. However, Marie Antoinette, Serial Killer is a novel that is an excellent progression of the main character, Colette, from a shallow, selfish teenage bitch into a respectable human being with a Parisian backdrop while a string of murders is occurring.

Cover Thoughts

You know what? I like the blue with the blood spatter. There are some really fantastic mystery covers that this reminds me of.

Would I buy it?

Hmm... Since it's an ebook, I probably will. I'm intrigued by the description, though I do not appreciate any comparisons to That One Book. You know which one I mean.

The idea for Tumble & Fall came to me after thinking long and hard about what kind of a book I wanted to write next. I had just finished writing two books about magical dresses (Wish and Wishful Thinking, under my maiden name Alexandra Bullen) and, as much as I loved the fantasy elements and characters in those novels, I was eager to try out something a bit more grounded in reality.

That said, I also knew that I wanted my very realistic characters to be dealing with something BIG, and what’s bigger than the end of the world? Not much.
