What's New at Bibliophilia, Please

I'm sure you may have noticed that I have been a little quieter than usual over on the blog this week. (I'm sure you're thanking the stars that I've FINALLY given you a break from the daily posts.) I really haven't had much extra time to put together any posts. I can usually juggle the blog along with my three jobs (yes, I have taken on another), but when you throw in Bug (my daughter) and I BOTH being sick... Maybe a ball gets dropped here and there. No matter! I have some surprises in store for you. (No, it's not more giveaways, though I do have quite a few for you HERE.)

I'm sure that you have noticed that things are looking a little bit different around here. One of my very favorite people that I was lucky enough to meet on Twitter agreed to help give Bibliophilia, Please a makeover. Personally, I think he did a fantastic job, and I am beyond grateful that he did this for me. I suck when it comes to this sort of thing, and I thought I was going to be stuck with the travelish template fooor-eeehhh-vverrrr. What do you guys think of this new one?

Speaking of that awesomely fantastic person - he's agreed to start contributing to the blog! I would like everyone to meet –

Will!

Will is a freelance translator of All The Things Spanish and English and operates out of a blue police box smack down in the middle of Chile. His favorite genres to read are science fiction and fantasy, along with “all those nice tasty subgenres tucked inside”. (His words, not mine.) He loves books packed with action, and I think he just might have a soft spot somewhere for zombies. Some of his favorite books (okay, and series) are Dune, Honorverse, March Upcountry, Looking Glass, LotR, Mistborn, Grimnoir Chronicles, Monster Hunter International, Gentleman Bastards, Dresden Files, Iron Druid Chronicles (see why I like him so much?), and many more. Hopefully I can blackmail… err… CONVINCE! Yes, convince him to start reviewing once he gets used to living in his little cage here at Bibliophilia, Please.

Did I say cage? Umm… Look! A puppy!

You can also find Will on Goodreads and Twitter.

Welcome Will - if you're really nice to her she might let you out of that cage occasionally ;)

  3. @Ivana - Thanks! I'm so glad that you like the header. *beams*

@Kat - I did a bit of a soft roll-out so I could get a feel for it. I'm really happy with it, and Will did such a fantastic job. There's no way I'm ever letting him get away from here. ;-)

As for Bug and I, she's already completely better (little brat), and I've improved drastically. On the plus side of laying around in the bed for days - I finished several books!
