Thankful Thursday (2)

Thankful Thursday is a feature on the last Thursday of every month here at Bibliophilia, Please. It allows me to share not only the books that I receive, but also the bloggers, authors, lolcats, aliens, and other entities on the interwebz that made my month amazing.

Books

First off, I just want to let you know that you're NOT seeing double halfway through the stack. I initiated a trade for the ARC and almost immediately afterward I was offered the hardcover as a RAK. There will be a giveaway soon. Now for the feats of gratitude! *flexes*

I did not win or receive this book from Dani, but she is the one who brought me to the Night Creatures series and told me how I could get copies here in the United States. (They're only available in Australia and New Zealand right now.) If you don't know about t hem already, you should definitely check out Fishpond. The Book Depository isn't the only place that ships worldwide. *winks*

Authors

Thank you to:
Raven Bower for the lovely interview.
Stephen Paul Register for the fantastic interview.
Kersten L. Kelly for being so sweet and providing ecopies of ec·o·nom·ics for the Indie Author Giveaway Hop.
Sara Walsh for plotting awesomeness with me. :-D
Daniel A. Cohen for not putting a restraining order on me after I sent Christina to hustle him for an autograph.

Bloggers

There are so many of you that are awesome, but today I only have time to write up two. (I will try not to be a last minute blogger next month for my ThTh!)

Christina from A Reader of Fictions is seriously too fantastic for words. If you don't know her or her blog, you should seriously go check it out. An example of her awesome sauce - she went to BEA and stalked Daniel A. Cohen for me, since I couldn't be there. I just wish she would have remembered what Neil Gaiman smelled like...

Tami from Krazy Book Lady is someone that I would be lost without. I haven't been able to talk to her as much as we usually do (we both have crazy lives!), but I know she's there if I need her. I'm especially grateful about how understanding she's been about my slacking on the memes and reviews. (See, she's great isn't she?

Will

I hope he's not frightened off before he gets into blogging properly. He is such a funny guy, and I think you will really enjoys his posts. Also, if you're looking for a Spanish or English translator, he's the guy for the job. Don't make him too busy with the work - just give him lots of money. *winks*

Readers

Finally, I want to thank everyone who reads this blog or follows me on Twitter for being so incredibly supportive (hi followers, I love you!) and understanding this past month. Thank you so much for stopping by to read or say hi! I am also grateful for how awesome you guys have been to not leave in droves since the posting has gone down a bit. My daughter and I have three  hospital encounters and seven doctor visits between us, so things are going to stay slow until we get that part of life settled. I've also taken on another job, but that hasn't affected anything but my morning naps so far. Anywho, thank you for the comments, follows, shares, etc. You guys are awesome.
