Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing Me

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created and hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top Ten Books I Wouldn't Mind Santa Bringing Me

1. Dangerous Women edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner R. Dozois

This has a lot of great authors – my have-to-reads on the list are George R. R. Martin, Jim Butcher and Brandon Sanderson.

2. Shadowdance (Darkest London #4) by Kristen Callihan

Callihan’s Darkest London series is one of my favorite series. It is a mix between steampunk, urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

3. Tangled by Emma Chase

I have heard nothing but good things about this book, and I am intrigued by the male point of view.

4. The Sandman Omnibus Volume 1 and The Sandman Omnibus Volume 2 by Neil Gaiman

Even though I have already read all the issues in Volume 1 and most of the issues in Volume 2, I really, really, really want these. They are so pretty and leather bound. But, at $100 a piece I really can’t justify buying them. Santa could bring them and I would not have any complaints. :)

5. Leather bound collection of Stephen King works: Carrie, Salem's Lot and The Shining or any of the other leather bound collections at Barnes and Noble.

I love, love, love these awesome leather bound classics at Barnes and Noble. I already own several and every time I go into Barnes and Noble, I look at how pretty they are. Plus, I don't own any of Stephen King's books so this would be a great beginning! I really want the collection of Jane Austen, but I already own the Pride and Prejudice leather bound and all of the other Austen works in some form or other...

6. Penguin also has some very pretty hard cover books.

I want all of the Jane Austen, of course. I also really need to read The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.

7. Pulp! The Classics has some very fun covers for paperbacks.

I want the Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy.

8. Audible Credits

I already have a subscription with Audible for 1 credit a month, but I would always love more credits! :) I love that I can switch from my iPod to my Android phone to my tablet and my computer and it is already synced. Plus, I can buy the Kindle version and that will get synced, too!

9. Ignite Me (Shatter Me #3) by Tahereh Mafi

The heart-stopping conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Shatter Me series, which Ransom Riggs, bestselling author of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, called "a thrilling, high-stakes saga of self-discovery and forbidden love.”

Juliette now knows she may be the only one who can stop the Reestablishment. But to take them down, she'll need the help of the one person she never thought she could trust: Warner. And as they work together, Juliette will discover that everything she thought she knew-about Warner, her abilities, and even Adam-was wrong.

10. Black Arts (Jane Yellowrock # 7) by Faith Hunter

Jane Yellowrock is a shape-shifting skinwalker who always takes care of her own—no matter the cost…

When Evan Trueblood blows into town looking for his wife, Molly, he’s convinced that she came to see her best friend, Jane. But it seems like the witch made it to New Orleans and then disappeared without a trace.

Jane is ready to do whatever it takes to find her friend. Her desperate search leads her deep into a web of black magic and betrayal and into the dark history between vampires and witches. But the closer she draws to Molly, the closer she draws to a new enemy—one who is stranger and more powerful than any she has ever faced.
