Though my literal blogoversary was back in June, I hardly think two posts between then and December 31, 2011 constitutes being an active blog. I had another blog that I spent a lot more time with, and I was doing a lot of writing on my own projects, so I never really took this one seriously. Then I took it TOO SERIOUSLY once I started. Anywho, my first post was Top Books of 2011 And Why I'm Glad They Haven't Pressed Charges. I suppose it's only right that I do a top books for this year. Hell, let's do it going back to the first post! (Okay, that's mostly because I was too lazy to do a wrap-up post last year, but that's neither here nor there.) On with it, then, and click on the covers to read my reviews!

So those are my favorite books over the past two years that I can think of on the spot. (I may or may not be writing this post frantically the night before I'm due to post it, even though I've been planning this for months.) Now for some blogs (and bloggers) that I've kept up with over the years!
Favorite Bloggers
First and foremost, I need to mention Tami at Krazy Book Lady. When I started blogging, she took me under her wing and showed me the ropes. I did a few reviews and blog tours on her blog, and then I did Top Ten Tuesday for her for a while. I learned so much from her about how things are done in the blogosphere, and we've managed to stay in touch after all this time. Tami is a really neat lady, and I hope that she comes back to blogging as much as she did one of these days.
Next, I have to mention Christina at Reader of Fictions. I think she's the first person that I can recall consistently returning to my blog to comment or talk to me on Twitter. I've never been one to interact much with many other bloggers (I'm shy and I was working crazy hours), so it was nice to see a friendly face. On top of that, she's a fantastic reviewer who reads a shitton of books. Whenever I'm stumped by a patron who is looking for that perfect book, I always know I can scan her blog or hit her up for help. Also, she brings joy to my Thursdays (and I'm sure many of yours, as well) with her delicious servings of Cover Snark.
I think the blogger that I had the most fun getting to know over the past two years was Ashley at Wholly Books! We were partnered together in the 2nd Annual YA Crush Tourney hosted by The YA Sisterhood as Team Percy, and though Percy was beaten in the first round, I still had a good time. Also, I am eternally grateful to her for buying me a signed copy of The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan last year because OH MY GOD WHAT I SPENT ON The House of Hades! But that's neither here nor there - she's an awesome chick who has always been a lot of fun to chat with.
Another important lady is the talented, awesome, wonderful, etc., Avery from Avery's Book Nook who has redesigned my blog for me, installed it, and did several little things for so much less than she's worth. If you're looking for a fantastic design for your blog or website, go check out Avery's Designs to see if there's something there for you. (At her prices, I can pretty much guarantee there is.)
Last, but certainly not least, are my co-bloggers here on Bibliophilia, Please. I've known Will since before I started the blog, so we've had quite a few years to squee together over Kevin Hearne. He's made blogging fun, and I hate that he's been MIA. Amber came on board just a few short months ago, but she hit the ground running! Within two weeks of me putting up the ad for a new co-blogger and contacting her, she already had her first review ready to go up. Like Will and I, our reading interests are very similar, so it's fun to discuss books with her.
Now these are just highlights of my favorite bloggers, but they have, without a doubt, kept things fun and made my life less stressful the past two years. If you're interested in more blogs that I enjoy and have followed for the past two years, my favorites are on the bottom of the right sidebar.
