Top Ten 2014 Releases I Meant to Read But Did Not Get To
1. Stitching Snow by R.C. Lewis
My library finally ordered this, and I have it checked out now. You can read Kayla's review HERE.
2. Of Metal and Wishes (Of Metal and Wishes #1) by Sarah Fine
I read and enjoyed Sanctum earlier this year, and I've heard such good things about Of Metal and Wishes. I have Kayla's copy now so I should be getting to this soon.
3. The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer #3) by Michelle Hodkin
My library still hasn't ordered this, but I might use an Audible credit soon.
4. Sisters' Fate (The Cahill Witch Chronicles #3) by Jessica Spotswood
I have this checked out from the library so I'll be getting to it soon.
5. Half Bad (The Half Bad Trilogy #1) by Sally Green
I just realized that my library has this on audiobook so I'll be listening to it soon.
6. Infinite (Newsoul #3) by Jodi Meadows
I have this checked out from the library, and it's due soon so I need to get to reading it. You can read Kayla's review HERE.
7. Fire & Flood (Fire & Flood #1) by Victoria Scott
8. Defy (Defy #1) by Sara B. Larson
I have owned this since March, but all the other books have just gotten in the way.
9. The Winter King (Weatermages of Mystral #1) by C.L. Wilson
10. The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison
The Retribution of Mara Dyer was quite good but I think the books just started to go downhill after the first. I had a lot of problems with the book but you can see my review here if you like.
ReplyDeleteI really loved Half Bad though, it is a nice change to have a male protaganist I think.
Fire and flood is also on my list along with plenty more which you can see here.
That's probably one of the reasons I haven't picked up The Retribution of Mara Dyer. Well, that and I can't really remember anything about the first two books, and I don't really want to reread them. So, it might wallow on the TBR for a while.
DeleteI just finished listening to Half Bad and I really liked it, too! Nathan was an extremely interesting character. I'm so glad I finally got around to reading it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Great list! I read Stitching Snow last year and LOVED it; I hope you do too. Here's my TTT. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteIt is the book I am about to pick up, actually. :) I really hope it lives up to all the good things I've heard about it. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThe Goblin Emperor is on my TTT list, too.

I haven't read any of these, although most of them are on my TBR mountain chain. STITCHING SNOW is on my TTT list today. I hear it's excellent! I hope we both get to it this year :)
