Kick-Butt Characters Giveaway Hop (INT) - From Thenadays

The Kick-Butt Characters Hop is Hosted by Good Choice Reading & I Am A Reader, Not A Writer.
The dates for this hop are March 23rd - 28th.

Up for Grabs

Okay, I know everyone is probably going to be giving away The Hunger Games, so I'm giving your the opportunity to choose either The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley or The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman.

I have read both of these books, and they are two of my absolute favorites (from Thenadays!). The main characters in both of these books are pretty kick-butt, if you ask me. Harry Crewe (The Blue Sword by Robin McKinley) is an orphan who finds herself kidnapped after moving to a strange land and adapts surprisingly. Lyra Belacqua (The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman) is a sneaky, mischievous, lying brat whose behavior inspires love and loyalty from anyone who meets her. These girls have heart, and the books are classics. In fact, I just reread them both during my last hospitalization. They're comforting old friends, and I hope you enjoy them as much as I have over the years.

Contest Rules
Since you already have the being a fantastic person part covered by visiting my blog, here's what I'm going to need from you:

  • Please be at least 13 years of age or have your parents' permission. If there's some weird law about this kind of thing where you live, please follow it. I don't want a visit from the book police.
  • You must live in a country to which Amazon ships. Since the Book Depository is based in England, it complicates things with my debit card. My credit union is paranoid about overseas transactions, and I haven't sorted things out yet. I give you my sincerest apologies.
  • Do not let the awesome here overwhelm you. Just roll in it and leave a little of yours behind for me. We need the love to grow.
Super easy, right? Now on to the Rafflecopter!
