I knew that there was no way that I was going to be able to finish the books that I chose for the read-a-thon, but I really didn't think I'd be doing as poorly as I am. I mean, I didn't even get up my Day 2 update yesterday! *sigh*
Work has been really outrageous this weekend, and I'm not getting my usual 1 1/2 hours to myself each day. (Yes, that is how much time I have for reading, blogging, cleaning house, etc.) Hopefully, you guys will forgive me eventually.
My Progress
Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King (The Guardians #1) by William Joyce
Page 99/228
This is a really cute book that is very easy to read, and I WILL finish it for the read-a-thon, if nothing else! I expect to be done with it this evening, barring Hell, high water, and that other nonsense.
Yet to Come
Enchanted by Alethea Kontis
Ward Against Death (Chronicles of a Reluctant Necromancer #1) by Melanie Card
Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris
Mini Challenge
1. "Once upon a time, an ANGEL and a DEVIL fell in love. It did not end well."
2. "She had been INNOCENT once, a little girl playing with FEATHERS on the floor of a devil's lair."
3. "…When I saw her smile I WONDERED what it would be like to make her smile...I thought it would be like the DISCOVERY of smiling.”
